This rain chain water feature is built up of steel scoop buckets connected vertically, each with a hole in the bottom to create the flow of water. Transported through each miniature bucket, the raindrops create a gentle trickling sound.

The rain chain comes fully assembled and comes as one piece with a loop at the top to suspended from a tree, arch, washing line or rooftop gutter. 

The rain chain is made from steel to give it a dark rust finish. The distressed look adds to its old charm.

In any position this rain chain will be the perfect addition to any garden.

Rain chains are traditionally used in Japanese culture, similarly to how this one is to be used. Instead of conventional European guttering, which the Japanese weather isn't suited for, they instead hang rain chains from their roofs to channel heavy downpours of water into drains.
