Our gift card makes great gifts - for the holiday bookers and 'What a view-look!'-ers, green-fingered shoppers and sandwich-scoffers, history ponderers, weekend wanderers and everything in between. However the gift card is spent, every purchase made helps us look after nature, beauty and history, for everyone, for ever.
The digital gift card can be personalised with a message from you – just the ticket when you need a thoughtful gift, quickly.
You can add any value to your gift card from £10 to £500.
Gift cards can be redeemed against admission to most of the places we look after in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. In addition, it can be redeemed in National Trust cafes, shops (including our online shop), on National Trust membership (in person at our properties), on National Trust holidays (by phone) and when you stay at a Historic House Hotel - Hartwell House, Bodysgallen Hall & Middlethorpe Hall.
National Trust holidays include holiday cottages, working holidays, bunkhouse & bothy stays plus selected campsites.
Cards expire 27 months after the date of issue or 24 months from the last transaction which can be a sale or a top up of the value. Cards cannot be used for any other telephone or online purchases except as stated above. Gift cards are not accepted at certain sites or outlets not operated by the National Trust. If you already have a gift card with balance remaining, we’re also extending the expiry date of these cards by three months (three months from the current expiry period of your card). You can check your balance or expiry date by visiting: www.showmybalance.com. Enter the 16 digit card number and PIN (found under the scratch off silver panel) in the Online Access Code area.
Delivery by email
There is no delivery charge for sending a digital gift card.
The digital gift card will be sent to an email address of your choice where the recipient will need to click on a link to download their digital gift card to either show on a phone or as a print out when wanting to spend at a National Trust place.
We are unable to accept returns for gift cards.
