Overview

British sheep’s wool for wild birds provides a natural nesting material to help support birds during the breeding season. Washed and prepared for garden use, this soft wool can be offered so birds can gather fibres to line their nests.

This product is a pack of natural washed British sheep’s wool designed to provide nesting material for wild birds.

Birds use wool to create warm, insulated nests that help protect young chicks during colder weather. Known for its strength, softness and warmth, sheep’s wool has long been sought out by birds across the British countryside, from the Highlands of Scotland to the rolling hills of the South West.

The wool can be presented in its laminated box, which features a hole at the front so birds can tease out single threads one at a time. It may also be placed in a dedicated dispenser, such as Woolie ceramic hanging sheep.
