Designed exclusively for the National Trust, this Hinton Ampner Leaves Silk Scarf is inspired by the rich autumnal leaves found on wallpaper at Hinton Ampner, Hampshire.

Made with 100% pure silk, this scarf is soft to touch and lightweight.

Inspiration is taken from Ralph Dutton's bathroom, which has black bathroom panels in a 1930s style complemented by a semi-sunken bath top-lit by a round skylight, and the rich red leaf wallpaper. Ralph grew up without a bathroom at Hinton Ampner so made sure he had one of his own when the house was remodelled. Hinton Ampner house was lovingly rebuilt by its last owner, Ralph Dutton, after a catastrophic fire in 1960. Enjoy the beautifully proportioned rooms which house his exquisite collection of ceramics and art, each window offering undisturbed views to the tranquil countryside beyond.
