This square pendant necklace has been handmade in Silver by Julie Bailey, winner of the National Trust Open Call 2018 in partnership with the Crafts Council.

Lincolnshire based Julie Bailey, whose Jewellery atelier is named PaperMetal, was selected as the winner at the finals held at National Trust’s Tyntesfield.

Julie’s exclusive handmade hallmarked silver jewellery range is inspired by formal garden design, featuring embossed patterns taken from box hedges and striped lawns.

Each piece is unique and handmade featuring copper details and reversible elements, marrying traditional silversmithing techniques with contemporary design.

Reversible, it is a versatile and unique piece of jewellery design inspired by the formal gardens of the National Trust.
