Unforgettable Walks by Julia Bradbury.
To accompany her primetime ITV series, Best Walks with a View, Julia Bradbury takes us on eight of the UK's best-loved walks, showcasing the beauty of Britain and navigating the reader through the sights and sounds, the flora and fauna and the past and present of eight fascinating and relaxing paths, all of them well-trodden but still full of discoveries waiting to be made, including some excellent pubs.
Both a practical guide and a love letter to walking and walkers, this book explores who walkers are and how walking across a landscape brings its people together, and shows how even those who don't live in the countryside are never more than a train ride away from stunning natural beauty.
Funny, inspiring and packed with beguiling characters, join Julia as she criss-crosses the country in sun, wind and rain, in search of the perfect walk, the perfect view - and the perfect pub. Each of the walks featured in the book is under 10 miles.
