Made especially for the National Trust our trio of all butter cookies are made with the finest ingredients and slow baked in small batches to give the best results every time.

Each pack contains a box of rich, crunchy oat cookies, crunchy and fruity sultana cookies and crumbly and decadent double choc chip cookies.

All new recipes made with all butter for that extra indulgent treat.

Great value and great for gifting.

Made especially for us by a family-run bakery on Speyside in the Scottish Highlands.

Oat Cookies: The best way to stir porridge oats and to prevent lumps is with a spurtle – a wooden stick With a thistle-shaped handle.

The hidden image is of a thistle flower at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk.

By buying these cookies you’re helping reveal treasures like this to everybody.

Sultana Cookies: Tax records from the eleventh century show that grapes were being grown in Britain during the Medieval Warm Period, but it became too cold for them to survive in the Little Ice Age which followed.

The hidden image shows a barometer found at Gunby Hall, Lincolnshire. Buying these cookies helps us uncover that past for the future.

Double Choc Chip cookies: To describe chocolate as divine is no exaggeration.

The Mayans – some of the first people to enjoy it – considered the pods of the cacao tree to be a gift to them from the gods.

When the eighteenth century Swedish botanist Linnaeus came to give the tree its formal classification, he ensured it kept its sacred essence, naming it ‘theobroma cacao’, meaning ‘food of the gods’, from the Greek ‘theos’ (god) and ‘broma’ (food).

The unwrapped image reveals a painting of Bacchus and Ariadne from ancient Greek mythology. Uncover more at Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire – a national treasure your purchase will help support.

1 stars New cookies - recipe change - not good Written by

On many visits we bought the old multi packs of cookies. We liked the crumbly, soft nature of the biscuits, especially the stem ginger ones and white chocolate with raspberry. We are very disappointed by the new biscuits, they are drier, smaller, lack the flavours, do not look appealing....more like a mass produced biscuit from a supermarket rather than a treat. Eight cookies to a box. The oat cookies are the tastiest - best crumbly texture and appearance ...closest to the old style. The sultana cookies do not taste nice at all and chocolate cookies are very dry and look similar to Maryland. I will not be buying them again
