5 stars Wales and the National Trust Touring Pass Written by

We bought the (overseas) National Trust Touring Pass, 14 Days as well as the CADW pass (7 out of 14 days, which covers the large medieval castles like Harlech, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Conwy) and really enjoyed the many wonderful locations. Visiting amongst others Bodnant Gardens, where we picked up our card. What a absolutely wonderful place that is! If you like visiting historic places, CADW serves more the medieval and older locations, whilst National Trust holds the castles and manors with decorated rooms, as well as well maintained gardens. There's art in there you would not believe and cannot be seen anywhere else. What's more, it gives a time capsule experience of how life was in the wealthy upper class in various periods of time. A touring pass is definitely worth the money and a family touring pass (our party was two adults and four children) already reached ROI in only two visits!

4 stars Good Value if you use it Written by

We were based in Corbridge, Northumberland for three weeks and this type of pass offered good value with the option to take in a number of excellent National Trust sites with small children. The gentleman at the entrance to Wallington Hall told us about it, which we really appreciated as it saved us some money while still contributing to a good cause. Didn't get my 10% online discount though that I enrolled for somehow??

5 stars ...what I always wanted... Written by

With the family trust touring pass National Trust exactly hit the nail on the head, this is what a family really needs for a perfect UK visit. If you come for a short family holiday, a year membership each was always far too expensive in my opinion for the three or four property visits you can do in that time. So always either single entrance fees summed enormously up, or you just passed by beautiful houses and gardens. The touring pass now is absolutely perfect for to give you the free choice at an absolute reasonable price, that pays off from about the third visit. That is the ticket for the interested I was missing for many former stays, obviously in the NT really understands their guests and made this great offer. Britain at its best!

5 stars Highly Recommended - ticket for all places of Interest.... Written by

Pass made many visits during our holidays more economic and simple. Thank you for your excellent service, staff and cafés. And we simply enjoyed being at your sites: Avebury, Lanhydrock, Lansallos and Lantivet, Glendurgan, Stourhead.

5 stars Very satisfied Written by

We were very pleased with the Touring Pass and were able to save some money by it. We can recommend the Touring Pass.

5 stars Perfect Written by

We bought our touring pass online the day we arrived the Cliffs of Dover. Very kind people informed us about the possibilities of the touring pass. In 2 weeks we saw many interesting places and enjoyed the time seeing the impressive places. We did not manage to see all the interesting places but some of them. We recommend to see Corf castle, Burling Gap, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove. Don't miss the fantastic cafe there!

5 stars Pass Written by

Good pass, easy to use, good value

2 stars very inconvenient Written by

I highly appreciate the work and locations of the natiomal trust, I am suprised to see I have to pick up my family pass more than 1 hour drive from my holiday location, while I stay near one: Dunster Castle. What is the benefit of ordering online, if it is not send to my home adress or can be obtained at each location easily. I mean I have to spend my first day on holiday collecting my pass instead of enjoying my holiday.

5 stars Must Have Written by

Best value for visiting Britain for 14 days and see the castles, parks and ruins a must have !

5 stars Great value, definitely recommendable Written by

Extremely helpful for overseas visitors to Great Britain who want to make the most of their holidays. Makes visiting the great houses and gardens easy and affordable even for a family of five.

5 stars 3rd year in row succes Written by

Nice and budget friendly way to discover the Houses, halls etc. Lots of info available in the NT app available from google playstore. Suggestion: Mark the redemption properties in the app.... or send a barcode by email so you can "check in" everywhere. (We were allowed to enter after showing the voucher email at a non-redemption propertie)

5 stars family touring pass is excellent Written by

We visited 5 Natinal trust locations and are very satisfied about the sites, the hospitality and the special attention for the kids. Also the quallity of the restaurants is very good.

5 stars ideal for foreign visitors Written by

this card is ideal for foreign visitors, you save a lot of money by bying this card

4 stars A good thing Written by

The Pass for Family really saved us money. It would be better, if the pass could be picked up every where as it is needed from beginning of holiday. We also had to drive a detour, to get it. With Internet you can get a lot of Information, but it would be great, when you could get this also on paper for the area you are in.

4 stars Great value, but there is space for improvement Written by
As a foreign visitor I found NT properties very interesting and well maintained. In particular the availability and kindness of the volunteers was always highly commendable. On the other hand, I do not understand why only a few properties were authorized to deliver the pass I bought online. I had to make a long diversion to reach a property I was not really much interested in just to get the pass.
5 stars 14 days membership Written by

Combining the sights with some Cream Tea was the best we could do. Our kids got more information than ever imagined. Real big and great deal. Will do it next time again.

3 stars Try National Trust Touring Pass for Families Written by

It is only possible to buy such a Touring Pass online per credit card. If you heard about this card in England it is not possible to buy such pass directly at the property. What will you do, if you have no Internetaccess /Smartphone on holiday ? The English Heritage Oversea Pass could be bought directly at each property and the visitor handbook is also given. The National Trust Touring Pass would given without National Trust Handbook. This is not customer friendly. When you have an old handbook it is posssible to plan your holiday and to have a great value from this pass (no closed properties, no properties where dogs not welcome) But this pass is not as good as the former Great British Heritage Pass, so only 3 stars are given.

5 stars Great for families visiting the UK Written by

I want to congratulate NT for this initiative that allows visiting families to the UK to have a deep insight into UK history, real States and landscape! Our travel would have been very different withiut the opportunity this pass has given us! And my profound gratitude to all NT volunteers that have help us, guide us, talked to us and made our visit to the UK an enriching experience! ThAnks to everyone in NT!

5 stars National Trust membership very useful Written by

We enjoyed our stay in South England and the National Trust attractions very much and our family membership saved us a lot of money in respect of entry and parking fees for the visited sites. It was very easy to receive our touring pass in the first visited attraction (Sissinghurst Castle) by showing our e-mail confirmation of the purchase. We had the impression that all employees in the visited sites were very friendly when they realized that we had the NT touring pass. We can recommend the purchase of the touring pass.

5 stars NT Touring Pass - Family, 14 Days Written by

An excellent deal for the whole family, with wonderful places and very kind and responsive stuff everywhere! I will surely recommend it to every one who wants to explore the most beautiful british nature and culture! NT - Thank you very much for this opportunity!

5 stars National Trust Touring Pass - Family, 14 Days Written by

We made 3 weeks vacation in UK (South England and Wales). With the Touring Pass we were able to visit many sights at a great price. Unfortunately there is no option for more than 14 days. This would be desirable. Furthermore, it would be advantageous if the Touring Pass includes a parking ticket. The friendly cashier at Chartwell created us a provisional parking ticket, which allowed us to stood on NT parking sites without problems in the following. Overall, the Touring Pass is a great thing for which we are very grateful. Thank you very much!

4 stars Touring Pass is Like Being a Member Written by

We were visiting a few NT properties on a recent holiday and bought a touring pass. It's an inexpensive way to see 4 or more properties as a family and you can buy it close to your trip because of the online option. The only downside is the limited locations where you can activate it; we were fortunate that our first stop was one of them. I'd definitely recommend a touring pass if you're taking a family to more than a few National Trust properties.

5 stars Oversea Visitor Pass Written by

Great, lots of things to see, Big savings!

5 stars visitors pass Written by

As a family of 6 the pass was perfect for us; we used it a lot and even visited a few places we would not have visited without the pass.

5 stars Great Value Written by

We've just visited the UK and took out a 2 week Family Touring Pass. We've gotten so much value out of this! We used it almost daily.

5 stars 14 day touring pass Written by

The touring pass is always a great way to view beautiful locations in Great Britian. Keep up the good work NT!

3 stars A bit disappointed about the Touring Pass this year. Written by

We have had a NT Touring Pass for several years and we have always been very happy with it. This year we had to collect the pass at a property. The people of the property (Melford Hall) didnot know where to find the Pass, so it took quite some time (vacation time....). We had a Pass for 14 days and used it in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. In Norfolk almost at all properties we had to pay and display at the parking. So, although we paid a lot for the Pass, we had to pay a lot more to park the car. We wanted to vist Sheringham Park one evening for the last opening hour, but we had to pay GBP 4,80 to park the car. I thought we had a membership Pass for 14 Days, but we missed the parking sticker. Maybe NT can provide a parking pass for 14 days?
