4 stars Great experience, shame about the parking Written by

We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to National Trust sites, but we were very frustrated to discover that the beach sites were not included in our deal and at Glendurgan Park we had to pay a full days parking fee to park for 1 hour. This was my first holiday in the UK and thanks to the NT Touring Pass we were introduced to many beautiful sites we wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

4 stars Good deal - but difficult to obtain and confusion about parking Written by

The Touring pass is value for money and pays itself off after a few visits. But it was complicated to get my hands on one. I had to purchase it online (being already on holiday in England) and then find a place to print my mail verification, because to show the e-mail at a property to receive the pass was not enough. There should be more places to pick up the pass as well. And there was confusion if the parking is included (like in the normal membership) or not. Got different answers from different people. Parking fees are adding up quickly. So maybe you could offer two versions, one with and one without parking.

5 stars Perfect deal Written by

We have been visitors to the UK for many years now, and the NT Touring Pass is a perfect companion. We are so happy with it! We love visiting the NT properties and each one is a surprise. One tip though: maybe you could specify on your site whether or not parking fees are included. This is not very clear now. (Maybe you could even offer the two options, without or with parking, given an extra payment.) We think NT is an inspiration and we admire the dedication of all the volunteers. Just fantastic.

5 stars What a Value--and So Much Diversity Amongst the Properties Written by

We visited more than six properties which required payment and a couple that didn't. The touring pass is an excellent idea and pays for itself after only a few visits. The properties were well maintained, and we liked the selection of keepsakes and information at the shops. We ate at a couple of the cafes and found the fare to be delicious. Just one suggestion would be free parking for the two-week period. At one property, when we inquired for change for the parking machine, we were offered a complimentary parking pass for our visit. Can't wait for our next trip to the UK and the use of another touring pass.

5 stars Excellent Product and Very Good Value Written by

We made full use of our Touring Pass - visiting at least a dozen National Trust sites over a several week visit to southern England. I should add that the National Trust App is excellent and user friendly guide to the many National Trust site. We picked our pass up at Kingston Lacy on our way to Dorset from Heathrow and used it three times the very first day! The pickup procedure is very user friendly and we were always treated with great welcome when we presented our Pass.

5 stars Great Product Written by

My husband and I bought our passes for our road trip around England this spring. Not only have they been incredibly easy to use, we've found the National Trust staff knowledgeable and very friendly. Signs to each site are easy to find and the UK map of sites has led us to gardens and estates we might not have visited otherwise. The only problem we had with our passes was collecting them as there are very few places that set them up and the website does not provide addresses to sites that can give you your pre-paid cards. We found a staff member at Chastleton House, however, who marked all of the sites clearly for us and sent us to the nearest property. We would definitely use these passes again in the future. Thank you, National Trust for all of your work.

5 stars excellent stimulation to see more Written by

After first only buying the English Heritage Pass we were urged by our travel agency to get the National Trust Pass as well. And we are very glad we did. Not only did we get to see many of the beautiful places in Devon and Cornwall and on the Isle of Wight for free now, we also went to places we would otherwise have passed by. Arriving at a NT location with only half an hour to spare would otherwise have made us decide to save time and money, with the NT Pass there was no objection to go in for a quick look. That certainly has added a lot to our trip. We can recommend it to anyone.

5 stars Excellent value Written by

My husband & I enjoyed, very much, our 14 day passes, for the National Trust. We were lucky to visit 5 properties. We even visited Felbrigg, twice, as we ran out of time on the first day. We will, most certainly, purchase this pass on our next (yearly) visit, from Canada.

5 stars This is an easy and excellent way to indulge yourself into the rich history of the UK Written by

Having this NTTP allows one to enter several places of natural beauty (Parks and gardens) and visit houses. These houses are packed with beautiful statues and paintings, furniture and collections from the ancient world and the colonies. One can compare the present and the past and see how life developed through the ages. The NTTP makes it easy to travel and to hop on and off at places of interest without minding about the fee.

5 stars Very good offer for tourists from oversea Written by

It was very helpful, to have bought this touring pass for 2 admits, 14 days. We saw for example Lanhydrock, Avebury, Stonehenge, Kingston Lacy, Lacock Abbey. It's a good price and a big chance, to see places of culture, history und wonderful nature. We got a map and an old (2015) catalogue of the special places, but nobody could tell us, which places are not free with this pass. In Internet it`s not easy find out where to book this special Touring Pass. I wish, it could be easier. Thank you for all the impressions!

5 stars Great value Written by

Great value. We were two adults on holiday together. Not many places where the pass can be picked up. (Holiday in Wales)

5 stars Positive feedback Written by

Everything was fine, it was worth the money, Thanks.

4 stars Good value, getting the pass can be improved Written by

The pass itself is fine. Our only trouble is that not all NT locations can get you a simple paper card with the data on it. This seems easy to improve.

5 stars Very goog offer Written by

This pass for foreigners is worth every pound. We even visited more locations than we thought on forehand. Also very good concerning free parking at walking areas.

5 stars Great value if you travel around! Written by

If you like to look at nice gardens and houses the tourist pass is really great. You don't have to think about it before you visit a sight. We would have paid much more without it. In addition, the paths of the hiking places from national trust are good, some even for people with mobility aids.

5 stars Thank you for introducing Touring Passes Written by

Being quite faithful visitors to England, we have almost always purchased a year subscription to the NT, but could not really make use of it, as we had to leave after 2 or 3 weeks. So we were delignted to discover in a magazine the introduction of Touring Passes. We made good use of ours (9 properties in 11 days) and were also very pleased to discover that most of your properties are opened every day (I remember organising trips for friends and havin to juggle with the dates and even to give up visiting this one or that one). Keep up the good works and THANK YOU for all the wonderful times you provided us with! Hardwick Hall on last Saturday with a talk by amazing Bess was one of the best memories of this year's trip. With best regards Nelly & Jacques Lasserre

2 stars Annoying Written by

After booking the Touring Pass I was informed that my purchase was not complete until I would receive an e-mail notifying that the items had been dispatched to me. I waited in vain for that e-mail and had to postpone my planned visit to Lanhydrock. Only after calling NT I learned that the e-mail with the confirmation of the order would already allow me to approach one of the NT centres to receive my touring pass. That was really annoying.

5 stars Best choice! Written by

It's the 2nd year we took this card. Perfect ! We are a young couple garden lovers and visited many places in Cornwall Devon forest Wales Cotswold and the midlands! Definitly worthwhile for travelers.

5 stars Must-have for culture lovers Written by

The national Trust touring pass opens a vast number of interesting and varied places - be it Bodnant Gardens, Erddig Hall, Chirk Castle, Houghton Mill or the childhood homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon. It made our holiday memorable.

5 stars Touring Pass - Admit 2, 14 days Written by

Great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed all the beautiful gardens and castles that we visited. Will definitely recommend and use this product again.

5 stars one of the best deals going! Written by

These passes are a real bargain for trips to the UK that are never as long or as frequent as one might wish. Thank you for making them available. Visiting NT sites are one of the top 3 things we look forward to each year. I have only request: a few more places to pick these up, please; I think there will come a trip when we'd have to go further out of our way to pick up the pass since we never bother to go into London, or such. Or make them available at ANY open site with today's technology?

5 stars Touring Pass Written by

We used the 14-days-touring-pass during our 14-day-holiday to visit all the houses and gardens in our surrounding. A good idea to foreign tourists.

5 stars fabulous Written by

We had a lot of fun with our touringpass.

5 stars Touring Pass Written by

Absolutely a good idea. We didn't know theses passes were available until we looked at the web site. We have been to three houses over the passed few days and enjoyed them all. Well done NT!

5 stars Aanschaf van 14 daags lidmaatschap Written by

We have bought this pass a number of times and that suits us fine. After a number of visits you have the pass out and a nice touch is that many of the beautiful garden houses you can visit for a picnic. Free parking is part of the pass.

5 stars Sigthseeing Holiday in Kent and East sussex Written by

The National Trust Touring Pass is a perfect offer when going to visit NT properties in UK on a holiday.

5 stars more info Written by

Would appreciate more info on where to pick up pass for those not from the UK. Looking forward to seeing more locations than originally chosen, do to using the pass.

4 stars Perfect for travelers but compared to EH similar product could be improved Written by

As I was familiar with similar product of English Heritage, I was happy to find out NT provides something similar (unfortunately not so user-friendly as EH). First of all one musnt´t forget not all properties are able to change your printed confirmation of payment for Touring Pass what can be sometimes complicated if none of them is located near your stay in Britain. The next small trouble is parking - NT members have parking for free but you have nothing to display in your car that you are a NT member. It´s to be quite easily solved - but each time you have to ask at the property how to do it. Sometimes they give you some parking ticket, sometimes not. It seems there no common rules to that. But in general we were very happy to buy that product as it opened for us many opportunities to see places which we would otherwise missed. I would always recommend this product to anyone traveling to Britain.

5 stars Recommended! Written by

We were absolutely satisfied with the NT Touring pass...

5 stars touring pass Written by

will know later in the year as to the value of the pass, however in the past it has been the best value we have ever done with respect to our Annual trip to the U.K. NT is the best organization of preservation of history and culture as well as gardens and wonderful coffee shops in the world. we are all better today because of the work of the Trust! we will always join some aspect ot NT membership.

5 stars Excellent product Written by

We loved it. We used itany, many times. Then spent up big in the restaurants and shops. We saw more places then if we had to purchase tickets for each place.

5 stars Great value Written by

This was one of the best ways to visit the National Trust properties. The app was helpful in using the sat nav and gave a good description of the properties. Would highly recommend purchasing if you are planning to visit .

5 stars Great value! Written by

This was a terrific find during our recent travels in the UK. We visited so many sites thanks to our touring pass. The National Trust sites are so well looked after and definitely worth a visit. They offer something for everyone and can be found throughout the country.I will absolutely tell anyone travelling to the UK to take advantage of this visitor pass and see as many sites as possible. If I lived in the UK, I would buy a membership in a heartbeat.

3 stars Great product but limited availability lets it down Written by

The 14 day pass is a great product for travellers to the UK from overseas. It is nice to be able to visit so many lovely properties with my son who lives in the UK and is a National Trust member. The product has two problems which prove that it from being a top quality item. The first problem is acquiring the ticket. Currently, this can only be picked up at a handful of locations. We had to travel into Birmingham to pick up ours and this was a big inconvenience. It would have been much easier to pick this up from our local property in Wolverhampton. You can resolve this problem by making these tickets available at every venue. The second problem is the ticket us not available at many properties. I would expect a ticket like this to be the same as a regular member but instead I was surprised to find out that dozens of properties were not included with our ticket, one if these being Shugborough where we were planning to visit. I found this very disappointing and feel that all properties should be accessible to the overseas traveller. Should you make these changes, I would definitely buy in the future, but in its current situation, I would not buy again due to the problems above.

5 stars worthful institution Written by

National Trust is a worthful organisation with lovely people explaining and helping in the different sites. The pass is a "must" for everybody travelling in UK with interest in historical sites. Thank you for your investments.

5 stars Touring Pass Written by

Haven't taken the trip yet--soon! Always enjoy our time exploring NT sites each year. Looking forward to Suffolk & Norfolk this year. One issue is some confusion on whether we can pick it up at Chartwell---the list when buying it didn't include it, but the map & the email confirmation included Chartwell to pick up.

5 stars Great properties, difficult purchase Written by

Enjoyed properties across the Midlands, especially Stoneywell and Hardwick Hall. The pass was excellent value for money and we tried to make good use of it. However, purchasing the pass on line was extremely difficult. The website told me that the email address I supplied was not valid. It does not know that it's the address that I use every day for transactions with my bank, my family, and my online purchases. Only by a using a ruse was I able to get around the programming error in the site.

5 stars NTTP for the better. Written by

The NTTP is of great use when visiting England. One has free admission to great places and wonderful parks. One can submerge into the great history from England and see the many works of art that are up for viewing.

5 stars very helpful to get absolutely actual information and to save money substantially Written by

very informative webside with all important information

5 stars Touring Pass very appreciated Written by

The Touring Pass is an excellent tool for tourists travelling in England for vacations. It's cost and time saving to use it. We will recommand it to anybody who want to visit many National Trust sites.

5 stars top value for money Written by

This is an awesome product - we visited attractions worth more than 80 pounds per person (including English Heritage managed Stonehenge and various NT parking sites) for the price of 54 pounds for both of us. What a deal!!! All the attractions were fantastic and staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

5 stars Two fantastic weeks with National Trust Touring Pass Written by

Everything as promised, easy, straightforward and convenient. When I visit England again, I'll order it again.

5 stars Great Offer Written by

Like the pass for foreign visitors. There should be an option to mail the passes and booklet to us when ordering so we are able to plan our visit better. If there was that option it was not clear when ordering. Is there any way to get my passes and book sent to me before my trip in Sep? I am willing to pay shipping and handling.

5 stars good offer Written by

we like this offer ! We may visit many interesting places at good price ! Thank you

5 stars Great offer Written by

This is the perfect pass for foreign Travellers who do not require a full annual membership. Loved all the opportunities this offered.

5 stars USER OF THE PASS Written by

We had bought the same Pass last summer when we visited the Midlands and Kent and we found it very useful; as a result of this we have decided to purchase it again, since this year we will visit the North of England.

5 stars Essential! Written by

The National Trust Pass is a great experience, gives you access to many beautiful places, historic homes, gardens. It's a great oportunity to admire the English Heritage at a reasonable price. We like getting the organization and staff friendliness. We hope that in Italy, which has an immense heritage, one day learn to care for and appreciate it like we saw here. The two things that I think are to improve are: the possibility to pick up the pass in more places. Extend the visiting hours later, at least in the summer because 5pm is very early, there is light late and if you want to visit with calm you need more time. Joanne, Rome, Italy

2 stars Touring Pass Written by

A touring pass sounds a good idea, but there obstacles to overcome before picking the pass up. every, and I mean every person I spoke to from the National Trust had a different idea as to how it worked. When picking the ticket up at a designated property, there was utter confusion; am I allowed to pick it up on behalf of anybody else, when should the start date be, what about a car park sticker. It took a third and experienced member of staff to sort things out. Also, why are there so few places one can pick up the cards? when visitors arrive at Heathrow (we live in Henley-on-thames) and intend to travel west, they need a pass when visiting Clivedon, Greys Court, Stonehenge. I have to say, this was a time-consuming, irritating, disappointing and puzzling experience.

4 stars National TrustTouring Pass Two - 14 days Written by

User friendly to order on-line and all reviews very good. although some concerns about when we collect our Touring Pass which has been paid for. and whether it will be available to collect as various reviews say Customer service when collecting not very good.

5 stars Big savings in a 2 week journey Written by

That's a real bargain! We saved at least 100,-GBP in parking and entrance fees in our 14 day trip around Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset. And it is so easy to obtain - I purchased online 2 days before and got the pass at Lacock Abbey with the big NT-book. Many thanks to the nice staff there and everywhere we went!

4 stars Touring Pass Written by

This pass is a very good idea for tourists, as it lets you enjoy more places in England. Not easy to find on the Homepages and also hopefully NT can improve the way to have it picked up at only certain places.

5 stars Tourist Pass for Overseas Visitors - a must have Written by

We love travelling in the UK, but even more since we found out, that we have the chance to visit all the lovely properties for a very reasonable price.

4 stars Touring Pass Written by

On a previous trip to England my husband and I enjoyed the benefits of having an NT membership. My sister and I purchased a two week pass online before leaving Australia for my most recent trip. This was very easy to do, and I appreciated the fact that I could show a screen shot of the receipt on my phone rather than take a piece of paper as proof of purchase. This was quite easy to redeem once the volunteer with the know how arrived - the others weren't coping too well with the technology involved! We were lucky that our first night was close to one of the few NT places at which the pass could be picked up. It's really not a huge process; maybe there could be more places to be able to do this?? All the volunteers we met were lovely and very knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the places we visited.

4 stars Touring Pass Written by

The National Trust's Touring Pass is a perfect companion for a holiday in Britain. We could save a lot of money during the two weeks with the pass. The NT staff was always very friendly and we greatly enjoyed all visits. The only thing to improve would be to organize that it can be picked up at all NT properties. As it is only a blank paper card which is filled in by the staff at the pick up sites, this should be easy to implement.

3 stars Touring Pass purchase Written by

It was difficult to find info about the pass on the website but once I did the purchase was easy. I'm not happy about having to change our itinerary to get to a location where we could pick up the pass. Surely it could have been emailed with supporting documentation provided at the first property if the cost of postage is an issue.

5 stars Excellent choice - the touring pass Written by

Everything went very well with the buying and picking up the touring pass and using it intensively during our holiday in Cornwall. I can only recommend it for other tourists!

5 stars NT Touring pass - 14 days Written by

Getting the pass at the first property was no problem, all well organized. We already had used the touring pass several times in the last years, so it was not new to us. The guides and volunteers were absolutely marvelous. We had many informative discussions with the guides and spent enjoyable and great days in these special places. Thanks to all of you. The touring pass is a must have for all visitors to England.

5 stars Summer Written by

As we have not gone on our vacation we cannot give you a review at this time. We will not be using our pass until July

5 stars Enjoyed the pass and properties Written by

We enjoyed visiting many properties during our two week visit to the UK. The first property we visited could not issue the pass, but when we showed them our email from the NT, they took down our information and kindly let us in. The volunteer guides at each of the sites were very friendly and informative. Thank you.

5 stars Very attractive deal Written by

This being clearly a new product it was a little bit difficult to obtain the pass at the tourist office in St Paul's Churchyard in London, as the lady kept asking for my voucher, whereas the email I received from NT clearly stated that I was to obtain the pass in exchange for this email. But fortunately they were eventually able to hand us our pass and we did use it, five times to be exact and we can only recommend it very much! So apart from actually obtaining the card it is a fantastic product.

5 stars excellent experience with national touring pass Written by

We used the two week pass for two to visit five different sites. Aside from saving us money we were introduced to fabulous historical properties where knowledgeable guides made the history come alive. The experiences were so much more enlightening than the !more commercial sites. The guides and volunteers were absolutely marvelous.

2 stars Touring Pass Collection issues Written by

Having purchased the 14 day overseas tourist's pass online from Australia, I now find that I will have to divert from my planned trip in order to collect the pass from a property that I did not wish to visit prior to my 1st planned NT property visit from which I am not able to collect the pass. This is a major inconvenience and lost time from my tight schedule and the NT should consider emailing a temporary pass that could be printed out for use or mailing a package to my home prior to my leaving (I bought the pass online at least 3-4 weeks prior to my travel). The NT could also allow the pass to be picked up from my chosen 1st NT property to be visited. Not clever customer service so far and I haven't yet arrived in the UK! I hope things improve.

1 stars mail the bloody thing Written by

I'd pay another pound or two to have the touring pass mailed to my home. Having to visit one of a few specific sites in order to start/activate the pass is a pain. I should be able to activate the touring pass at ANY NT site or you should mail the paperwork to my home country

5 stars National trust touring pass Written by
Thanks for your prompt service. We look forward to making good use of in this summer. We either join the Trust or by the passes each time we go to the U.K. (We iusually make an annual trip - we do home exchanges and always around NT sites, which is not too difficult as there are so many great sites.). Thanks for the excellent service. By the way, we always send NT Christmas cards out as well, t hey are outstanding! Thanks, Carole and Harvey Streitz
4 stars Good deal if you are travelling in the UK for 2 weeks Written by
We enjoyed the National Trust properties very much but as we were travelling in England for 5 weeks, we should have bought the annual pass. Some properties are not included in the Touring Pass and this pass can only be picked up at certain locations.
5 stars Great places to see Written by
The Touring Pass definitely is worth the money! We had no problems picking it up at Dover White Cliffs upon arrival from the continent. The NT staff here (and at all other locations!) was very friendly and understanding. Highlight: Free entry at Stonehenge!
5 stars Useful Written by
Bought this for two American friends visiting us( long standing NT members.) Very convenient. Easily done
5 stars The National Trust Touring Pass is excellent value! Written by
My wife and I purchased the Touring Pass for our recent visit to the UK. We visited a number of National Trust properties during our stay and found it to be an excellent money saver compared to paying regular admission prices.
5 stars Love your touring pass Written by

Second year in a row that we purchased a 14 day touring pass. Would defenitely recommend it! Increase of pick up point would be great though. Also if you would be so kind to bring the knowledge of your team up to date. We should have obtained a temporary parking permit at the pick up point but didn't get it although we specifically asked. They said that they weren't given any? Thanks to lovely and kind staff at stourhead this was solved today.

4 stars Touring pass Written by

We purchased a Touring pass now the 5th time and enjoyed all our visits of NT properties very much. Great respects to all the volunteers, who a very friendly and do great work. The disadvantage the limited number of sites to exchange the voucher for a ticket. So this year, I will have to change my traveling plans.

5 stars Easy going Written by

My wife and I always roam a part of the UK. Doing so The National Trust Touring Pass gives us the opportunity to visit at random places of interest all over the country. An easy way of going.

5 stars Touring pass for 3 weeks Written by

Not being a NT member you should have the possibility to buy a 3 weeks touring pass. We enjoyed our visits immensely. Thank you very much. Kind regards Volker Klütsch

3 stars National Trust Touring Pass Written by

I am a tour manager for a tour company which provides private tours for wealthy Americans. We take them to a large number of National Trust properties. We have used the Touring Pass for them in the past, but I am afraid we will not be doing so in the future for the following reason: Staff do not seem to know how to issue these and the rules vary from property to property - it depends who you see on the day. This applies particularly to the start date. Some staff say that you have to put the date that you collect the pass. This is ridiculous as we collect them for our clients before they arrive. This is often necessary because the first property we take them to may not issue the passes. Itineraries change as we go along. This means it is not always possible to say when the date of first use will be. Why can't the first property you visit enter the date??? I recently collected some passes for a customer from one property which is local to me and it was an interesting experience. The customer had purchased the passes from the USA and wanted me to collect them. When I did so they insisted on inserting the date I collected them and they did not ask me for any ID. I was clearly not the purchaser. We are great supporters of the National Trust and the fantastic work you do. Please try and sort out this little glitch. regards Jeremy Durham

Very good to preserve english sights

3 stars Inconvenient Written by

We had purchased a pass before and it represents excellent value. We based our whole trip around NT attractions and we intend to do the same in September. However there are a number of inconveniences. 1. There are a limited number of sites where the vouchers can be exchanged for tickets. This will result in us missing some places. 2. Last time we received the passes by post and the package included valuable literature This time, nothing. The savings in postage for NT has certainly not reduced the cost. Disappointing that there is no concession for seniors.

5 stars Touring pass: Much more than a good idea!! Written by

Using The Touring pass is very good (and to be honest cheap) way to see in a short time several estates, beautiful gardens, manors,........ Besides, our great respect for all those volunteers!!!

5 stars Strong recommendation Written by

For every tourist wishing to visit some of the major sights this product is an excellent choice and can save a lot of money. Not only admittance fees, also parking fees are included (at National Trust sites).

5 stars national trust touring pass Written by

purchase procedure friendly and value for money. Yet to arrive and interested to see how easy the next stage is .

5 stars Excellent Idea if you can work out how to get one! Written by

We wanted to purchase a pass in the UK as a gift for some American friends that were visiting us. We were initially told that it was not possible to do this, but after further enquiries we were told that it was OK provided that the US address of our visitors was shown as the delivery address on the order. Once the order had been placed we checked on delivery and were told that the pass and literature would be sent by courier to the US and hopefully would reach them before they left the US! The next day we were e-mailed a voucher to exchange for the pass on our first visit. We presented the voucher at Bodnant Gardens and our friends received their passes without any problems by the helpful staff there. So in fact the purchase process was simple, but made more complicated by lack of knowledge of NT staff.

5 stars A bit tricky Written by

Although fairly easy to order and quick to appear in my mailbox, the pass was difficult (for us) to print out and had to be converted to pdf. Luckily, we have computer literate sons! Perhaps the pass itself could be printable and one would not have to fit the touring route to a pick-up point. We will use our pass in August and can then let you know whether everything worked -- or not.

4 stars A practical way to visit National Trust properties: not yet used Written by

Once the link to buy a pass is found, and it's not that easy, buying it online is a doodle and picking up the pass in a NT property is a good idea (no mail, etc.) A major improvement on the yearly membership required from foreign visitors in the past.

5 stars National Trust Touring Pass - Admit Two, 14 Days Written by

It was extremely easy to order and pay for the above pass from Australia. Highly recommend purchasing online.

5 stars Picking up pass at Osterly Park House Written by

Staff were very nice, but seemed a bit befuddled as to what to do w/ being the first stop for the NT pass. finally got it done, but took longer than it should, and didn't have all of the info, listed on the site, that we should have gotten. WE found the passes very helpful and nice to have. Went to some new places and visited 'old friends' again. Ham House is truly amazing, we managed to hit it on one of the few weeks of the year when the cabinets are opened to see inside. wonderful. would recommend getting the pass to anyone who wants to see several/many places listed on this. great deal.

5 stars not used Written by

Dear NT, I bought the passes on the internet, but will use them only in may. So I cannot write a review.. But 2 years ago I bought them too and we enjoyed them thorougly! We haven seen the half of Englands NT treausures, magnificent!

4 stars 6 adult passes yet to be used...need to be picked up in July when we arrive Written by

Dear National Trust, actually we bought 3X2 adult passes...we will use them in July when we visit.I bought one years ago and it was very helpful and worth the cost. Unfortunately, you don't mail passes...but you mail your other products don't you ? Maybe you could reconsider so as to accommodate tourists. Thank you though, for helping me find a place to pick them up at. best regards, Heidi

Your 14 pass is a great idea

4 stars PRICE GREAT VALUE Written by

Although we are still yet to use the pass we think it is great value. We have worked out our itinerary and we will be able to visit many of the National Trust sites which will save us quite a bit of money. This is helpful as the exchange rate is awful from AUD to GBP at present. The transaction via Pay Pal went smoothly and quickly. It's great we can purchase our tickets before we come. Thank you

5 stars Great purchase Written by

We would really recommend this purchase. For our 2 week stay in the UK, we have doubled our money. Thank you National Trust, Denis and Marion Conley

5 stars Perfect for visiting all those Places Written by

As it is only possible to get the Pass on a few places on our Route, I asked per e-mail what I should do. I got the offer, to get the pass on a National Trust Site of my wish. So I was able to get the pass at Dunster Castle and it was no problem and worked well. I will defintively buy another Pass on my next travel to UK.

5 stars Ideal pass to visit a lot of interesting places in the UK Written by

we now have purchased the 14-day touring pass for the third year in a row. We really enjoy visiting the NT sites and use the pass almost to the max! The only downside this year was that the pass was no longer sent by postal mail but by an email voucher which had to be picked up at one of the NT sites. Unfortunately this is not possible at all NT sites so we had to drive over one hour at the first day, only to pick-up (and use the pass for the first time). If it is the postage costs are that substantial, I would suggest to make postal delivery an option. I would have been more than happy to pay a little bit more and save that on the extra petrol…

3 stars Inconvenient access Written by

The touring passes would have been valuable if we had been able to find more sites. The map showed locations of sites in relation to each other, but not to towns or roads. The most disappointing aspect however, was that we had to pick up the passes at an inconvenient time and location, when the site was closed. We would not recommend the passes to anyone else and would not purchase them ourselves for these reasons.

5 stars Touring Pass Written by

My parents in law loved this pass. They used it nearly every day during their two week stay with us and were overwhelmed by our magnificent buildings and gardens and the friendliness of the Trust's guides.

5 stars Excellent opportunity to see lots of places Written by

My husband and I used the pass almost every day and were able to make the most of it. The tourist version of the regular membership is ideal for us even though I agree with other people who have written reviews that it would be more convenient to be able to pick the pass up at every property.

5 stars Excellent Written by

Highly recommend the touring pass! Makes visiting and parking very easy.

4 stars Easy - and difficult Written by

I was told by a Lady at the National Trust telephone about the 14-days- membership and how to get it. The purchase on the internet was very easy to manage from outside Britain. Unfortunately, my husband and I overestimated the number of National Trust Sites we would be able to visit on our cycling tour through Essex and Kent, which lasted ten days. So we finally saw only Sissing-hurst -which was wonderful- and paid much more than we would have for a regular day-ticket. The money is well spent nonetheless, I am convinced, for the various tasks and works of the National Trust. The validation of the ticket should be made easier. We missed some sites on our way because Sissinghurst, after 3 or 4 days of our journey, was the first and only possibility for us. More opportunities to get that done would be of great help.

5 stars A lovely way to see the UK (but make it a bit easier to get - NT) Written by

I am an ex-patriot who recently came to the UK for a 10 day holiday with my partner. The pass helped to make it a really interesting visit for both of us. We used the pass quite a lot which made it good value and allowed me to show my parter much more of England than we would have otherwise have done, if we had to pay the individual entrance prices. We wanted to visit the places where the tickets were issued. However, I think the NT should review it's procedures on issuing the pass via the internet to make it easier and give more freedom to choose where to start ones visit. I also think that the initial pages of the NT website could be translated to make it easier to navigate for non English speakers to find where to purchase the pass. I was as able to explain how to navigate the pages to our non English speaking family and friends, but I am sure there are many who would struggle initially.

4 stars Ideal for visiting friends Written by

Although I was told that no such thing existed by a lady selling tickets at a National Trust property (!) I found this online and it was relatively simple to acquire, although there are limited places where you can pick it up. I had friends visiting from the USA for 2 weeks and it took the embarrassment over paying for visits out of our time together. You do need to use it quite a bit to make it pay.

5 stars A essential purchase for visitors Written by

Saves money and time if you intend to travel across England and see many places. We had covered the cost of purchase in the first week and the second was technically free. Entry via the National Trust member queue helped and parking tag saved walking around looking for meters. Can't believe more people don't buy these passes.

5 stars A very good idea to get this Touring Pass for our visit to England. Written by

We made good use of our Touring Pass on our recent holiday in England. I'd like to say every staff member we dealt with was so friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you National Trust - you helped make our trip wonderful!

4 stars Good product - difficult to get Written by

The touring pass is a very good way to visit many interesting places on a budget. I bought it once before years ago and at that time, it came in the post. Today I would have expected a printable pass, like a railway ticket. That you have to make a detour to collect your pass, seems inconvenient and outdated to me. If you can print your e.mail to collect your pass, you could also print your pass itself, perhaps with a barcode.

5 stars Ideal Companion for the English Heritage Pass Written by

This pass is the simplest way for visitors to the UK to enjoy the various properties that the National Trust takes care of. I was especially impressed by the knowledge of the various NT staff members (and volunteers) and this made the NT properties very memorable. When combined with an EH Pass, many of the best properties can be visited. As the pass must must be collected from only nominated properties, it is recommended that a purchaser co-ordinate their touring program accordingly. Not realising this we called first at a property that did not issue the passes, however the NT staff were happy to help and allowed us entry prior to collecting the pass. Great service from a dedicated bunch of people.

4 stars great idea, hard to get Written by

Hello, I'm a visitor from Europe and I had purchased the pass before years ago. I still think it is a really good offer for visitors travelling Britian, but at that time you would recieve the pass by post. Today I would have expected a printable pass, like a railway ticket. That you have to stopp a certain location to collect your pass is rather inconvenient when you have to make a detour.

5 stars A great deal Written by

This is not the first time that we have purchased this pass, and have always found it a great deal. I always research where we plan to visit, to compare individual prices with the cost of this pass, as well as to check that it would be convenient to collect the pass at one of the designated properties. Well done.

5 stars Great Deal Written by

Check first to see if the places covered by the ticket are of interest to you.

5 stars National Trust Touring Pass Review Written by

We are first time visitors to the UK and it would have been helpful to us to have had the passes mailed or emailed to us before we left New Zealand. Please consider offering this service to your customers .

2 stars Shipping by mail would be appreciated Written by

It is a pity that the pass will not be shipped any longer. One GBP more for a post stamp and the pass could be arrived. Or create a version which could be printed. Train tickets or flight tickets can be produced in a similar matter. It should be possible for the NT pass as well.

2 stars No flexibility Written by

My husband and I have been NT members for years and wanted to purchase as a gift a touring pass for my parents while they were on holiday in the UK. After purchasing online, I was surprised to find out that the passes would not be mailed but we would have to get the pass at specific designated NT sites only. This presented quite an real issue as we were not going to any of these designated sites and it would be miles out of our way and touring direction. These passes should offer your customers flexibility not a burden. If it is the postage costs then would seriously suggest to rethink the delivery of this product and offer perhaps UK/EU customer to be mailed their passes. In the end I did receive my passes in the post.
