5 stars A Great value for the purchase. Written by

This is my second touring pass, and I found it a tremendous value the first trip. The touring pass allows you to visit as many properties as you choose, rather than paying for a single entry each time. As an American with a love of history it was fun to visit these properties. We in the 21st century don't always see how life was in the past and it was a great opportunity to see some marvelous estates and look back in time. On this trip we plan to visit some gardens as well and hope to see a mill and some other things to have a look at the other side of society in those times.

5 stars Well worth it if you are willing to do a bit of advance planning Written by

This was a really great value for my visit--just make sure that you check what's excluded, and also that you can get to one of the places that issues them initially right at the start of your visit. Once I had the pass in hand it was as easy to use as a full NT membership.

5 stars Very pleased Written by

Having a friend from overseas visit me for two weeks, I was delighted to purchase a touring pass. That way I was able to show her many wonderful places.

5 stars Hope the National Trust will continue this prodcut Written by

I am extremely happy with the touring pass and I hope the National Trust will continue this product in future also. Additionally, it would be helpful if the voucher could be exchanged in more places (e.g. all National Trust sites, or maybe Heathrow airport tourist office). And if it could be put on the homepage as additional information that the starting date can be freely choosen (and doesn't have to be the day of exchanging the voucher).

5 stars Perfect companion Written by

The Touring Pass is truly your perfect companion to visit the UK's many historic & memorable sites. The unlimited free entry does allow to easily explore those sites on your route that you would skip for budget reasons.

4 stars 14 Day Touring Pass Written by

Great idea. Good value once you have visited 2 or 3 places. And you can visit Stonehenge, too! Would probably prefer options to last a bit longer (e.g. 8 days / 16 days / 24 days).

5 stars Chance to visit many properties with easy access Written by

Makes the access to the properties very uncomplicated, encourages to visit more properties than usual during a holiday.

5 stars Great Value Written by

On my recent visit to the UK, I purchased the 14-Day touring pass. What a great value. I enjoyed visiting several of the NT homes and gardens and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to step back in history at many of the locations. The NT homes and the volunteer staff are wonderful for information. Thank you NT for making this possible.

5 stars Excellent Gift Idea Written by

We bought the 14 day National Trust Touring Pass as a gift for a family member visiting from South Africa - it was a great buy!

5 stars NT Touring Pass - A Real Find With Only One Tiny Shortcoming Written by

Just before my Summer holidays a friend of mine drew my attention to the National Trust Touring Pass. I had always thought it was not worthwhile to purchase a temporary NT Pass because I used to visit only a handfull of their properties whilst in the UK. Perhaps the conditions may have changed, but at the current rates one only needs some three visits to get to the break-even point. NT might consider to stress this out more at their ticket offices, for I think more foreigners would be inclined to purchase the pass if only they were aware of the great benefits. Ordering the pass was quite easy, but I am not really enthusiastic about the low number of collecting points. Fortunately my first stop was at Sudbury, visiting friends, so this time Melford Hall was an easy alternative, but that was in a way sheer luck. I would therefore recommend that you do not limit the distribution points, but make it possible to collect the Pass at any of your (staffed) properties, or just simply offer the alternative to have it sent by post (and charge the extra costs if needed). By the way, I really admire National Trust, all their volunteers and the splendid work they do. I wish we had something like it in the Netherlands; it would have saved a lot of Dutch heritage which is now lost. Keep up the good work and lots of success!

5 stars 14 day touring pass Written by

I was here for two weeks holiday from Africa and this was definitely well worth the £30. I saw loads of beautiful places from Stonehenge to Sheffield Park and Bodium Castle and more

5 stars Touring pass: greatest idea!!! Written by

It's the third year I buy a 14 day touring pass and I think it's a great idea that The NT offers this product to overseas visitors. Single tickets for NT properties are not specially cheap and the touring pass allows me to visit lots of wonderful places without taking my economy to bankrupt! LOL! So a thousand thanks!!!

4 stars A great pass, good value for the money Written by

However, I really find it annoying, that I cannot get my pass either by mail, e-mail or at ANY NT property! I have to go far from my planned route to get it and really have to cross my fingers that I will be able to reach the property before closing time! Also I would not have been able to find the pass on your web page if I had not known about it from other travels in the UK and knew the name to search for! Some years ago it was possible to buy A Great British Heritage Pass valid for NT, English Heritage and some RHS gardens.I really think you should offer that option again! That would be perfect !

3 stars No flexibility Written by

I am traveling for a month in the UK, and while I can get a flex-pass on my rail travel, I can't get one on the National Trust pass. There should be an option to do 14 days within one month, rather than a consecutive 14 day pass that runs out well before my travel is finished.

5 stars Touring Pass a great idea for our US guest Written by

I bought a 14 day pass as a friend was coming from California and was interested in visiting properties. 11 visits during the period in the South East, including Chartwell and Waddesdon. She loved it, and the pass certainly saved us a huge amount of money. A great idea for your foreign guests.

5 stars Very good Written by

The sending of the pass was very prompt and the people were very helpful.

5 stars Would buy it again Written by

Great opportunity for tourists who want to visit old houses and gardens

2 stars Very Unsatisfactory Purchase & Activation Method Written by

I found it very difficult to find information on the Touring Pass on the website. The only way to access it is to somehow KNOW that it is called a Touring Pass and search for it as such; otherwise no one will ever find it!! Look at your Home Page and you will not find it. Moreover, once found, I had to call the NT to find out the most obvious details about it, such as does it have an expiration date (answer: previously yes, currently no) but this required a discussion with a supervisor to get the correct answer! Moreover, I pretty much lost an entire day waiting for the email confirmation to come through--at least 4 hours by which time I could no longer take the train into London to pick up my pass that day as the St. Pauls tourist office would be closed. That I would have to do something so inconvenient in the first place was another source of irritation--I had to spend 15 GBP train fare to London to pick up a 30 GBP pass so I could use it at my first stop on a driving trip to Yorskshire which is ludicrous. If I hadn't gone into London I would have had to drive way out of my way to get the pass activated at a site I had was not interested in seeing--so either way a huge inconvenience for a tourist whose time is very limited! I adore the NT but its cumbersome computer technology and methodology seems as old as its properties! You also need to be aware that many foreign visitors, which are the ONLY customers for the Touring Pass, do not have UK smart phones and cannot pick up email confirmations on the go--your confirmations absolutely need to be virtually instantaneous.

5 stars touring pass for july 14 Written by

GREAT idea! thank you . I have used a pass before; SO, this year it was one of the first things I had to arrange before my trip; looking forward to using it at the wonderful Nat'l Trust places. ....brilliant. VK

4 stars Great idea and saving lots of money! Written by

I have not used the Touring Pass this year, but bought it last summer and I it's a great idea!!! You save much money if you want to visit more that 2 or 3 NT properties.

5 stars Convenient and economical vacation asset. Written by

A great way to see some wonderful historical sights while saving on your vacation budget.

5 stars National Trust Touring Pass 14 Days - The best idea Written by

I am so glad that this opportunity exist at all. What a chance to see so lovely places in your country.Thank you so much. I surprise my family with a family-ticket for their holidays in september.

5 stars Excellent value Written by

This pass proved to be a god send. My brother (from NZ) and I were able to plan trips out around visiting National Trust properties. Over the period of two week the card more than paid for itself. A really good product.

5 stars Touring Pass Written by

While great value, this is actually quite difficult to obtain due to the limited sites you can pick it up from, none of which were on our intended list of sites to visit. We had to take a detour simply to pick up the pass which was quite inconvenient.

5 stars One of the best experiences of the holiday Written by

The touring pass is a brilliant idea and increased my holiday experience hugely. Redemption of the pass was simple and the whole process easy. I will definitely get one again next time I visit the UK. I have told all my friends and a friend from Holland has already bought and used the one week pass.

4 stars A good way to see many NT properties Written by

I had the Touring Pass before and it is a good way to see many NT properties. Fortunately I was lucky to have been sent the Touring Pass. I think it is a disadvantage that it isn´t usually sent anymore as you can´t get it at all properties for your voucher. So that is the reason it´s only four stars.

4 stars Brilliant idea Written by

The touring passes could not be more handy and they certainly help save a lot of money if you intend to visit a number of NT properties in a limited timespan. They were easy to order from abroad but redeeming the voucher was a bit of a problem. The first two NT properties we visited (Wakehurst Place and Stranden) were not included in the list of the properties redeeming vouchers. There was no other way of getting the actual passes but to ask a friend in London to collect them and hand them over to us upon our arrival at Heathrow. Other than that, fantastic idea.

5 stars Visitor to England Written by
