Our National Trust recycled wool waterproof backed rug is the perfect addition to all outdoor trips and picnics.

They are made from recycled end-cuts of yarn meaning each rug is original so the colours may vary, which adds to their unique charm. Reusing extra fabrics in this way minimises textile waste. Paired with a grey, waterproof polyester backing, complete with adjustable webbing straps to allow for easy storage and transportation.

This rug is made especially for the National Trust by Tweedmill, who were established over 50 years ago. The fabric is woven in Yorkshire and then they are made in Flint on the edge of the River Dee estuary and the Halkyn mountain range. With a rich textile history, they have a talented team with many years of experience handling fabrics.
