Designed exclusively for the National Trust, the intricate line drawn design on this mug, illustrates Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter, which inspired so many of her tales.

Made from fine bone china, this mug makes the perfect gift in the year that we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the author's birth.

Made for us by one of the few remaining fine bone china manufacturers based in the heart of the "Potteries" in Stoke on Trent, England.

Beatrix Potter bought Hill Top with royalties from her first books. This little 17th century farmhouse inspired a number of her famous tales including Jemima Puddle-Duck and Tom Kitten, with the books containing many illustrations based on the house and garden.

Beatrix worked closely with the National Trust and when she died in 1943, she left her estate in the care of the National Trust to ensure this legacy is looked after for generations to come.
