Delicate and flavoursome, our Elderflower Cordial has been made exclusively for the National Trust. Although there is no scientific evidence, in the past elderflower was much valued for its medicinal properties. It was said to help water retention, earache and to cure the bites of both vipers and mad dogs.
The revealed image shows elderflower growing in the garden at Monks House, the home of writer Virginia Wolf, East Sussex – a gem your purchase helps to support. Made for us by Urban Cordial in London, they handmake the cordials in small batches.
All ingredients used are natural and free from additives. All of the fruit used is British and surplus, helping to fight food waste. We recommend this served hot or cold (still or sparkling).
When turning into a cocktail then just add it to one of our National Trust gins with a splash of tonic - easy as that! To serve: dilute 1-part cordial to 10 parts water. If giving to toddlers add more water. Alternatively add 30ml to a gin and tonic!
Ambient unless opened, store in fridge and consume within 4 weeks.
