Exclusive to the National Trust, Heelis Hare is hand made in the UK. Originally sculpted by Thomas Meadows at his Wiltshire studio and recreated by Frith in their special bronze finish.
This bronze resin sculpture has exquisite detail and undoubtedly captures the essence of the hare. Heelis is named after one of the Trust's biggest benefactors, Mrs William Heelis, otherwise known as Beatrix Potter, the author of the much loved children's books.
This hare is hand made in the UK and will make a fine statement piece for the home and would also make an exceptional gift.
Our bronze family also includes Honey Hare and Howard Hare.
For over twenty years Frith Sculpture have supplied the National Trust with a range of animal and figurative sculptures. The sculptures are first sculpted in clay or wax by freelance sculptors before being taken to a studio on Exmoor. The manufacturing process is entirely done by hand using materials of the highest quality.
The sculptures in a special bronze finish may be positioned in the home or in the garden in all weathers.
