National Trust 2019 Calendar Tea Towel

National Trust 2019 Calendar Tea Towel

The Story
Reviews (2)

Designed exclusively for the National Trust our 2019 calendar tea towel would make a welcome addition to any kitchen.

Our very collectable tea towel was envisioned by Pat Albeck, who has been designing our tea towels for decades.

This year’s layout is based on our Valley to Headlands theme and displays coastal scenes and people enjoying the outdoors in Pat's popular style.

This tea towel is made from high quality linen and is durable and hardwearing. Highly absorbent and lint free, no other material does it better!

Great as a gift and comes in an envelope ready for posting.

Pat Albeck - one of the most renowned textile designers of the last sixty years - has been credited with inspiring Britain's love affair of patterned textiles including National Trust tea towels.

During a fifty year relationship with the National Trust these tea towels have been an object of art rather than a domestic necessity, and this final addition to the collection is no exception.

Screen printed by hand using water based, environmentally friendly inks onto 100% linen cloth.

Dimensions: H74cm x W48cm

Material: 100% linen

Care instructions: Machine washable up to 90°C but 50°C is recommended for day to day use.

Recommended: Wash before first use (several washes will activate the absorbency.

5 stars Question Written by

I've just ordered my tea towels, but where did you see it will be the last one done by Pat? Such a shame.

5 stars Happy to receive the 2019 tea towel but sad it is the last Written by

We are so delighted to receive the 2019 tea towel but sad it is the last designed by our dear Aunt Pat. We display our calendar tea towel in our kitchen each year and so there will be a gap on the wall from 2020. For those who are not so familiar with Pat’s tea towel designs, do buy the National Trust’s book entitled Queen of the Tea Towel.
