Overview

Made exclusively for the National Trust, our gooseberry and elderflower jam is delicate and fragrant.

The flavour of the tart gooseberries is enhanced by the subtle flavour of elderflower and sweetened to make this moreish jam.

Made by hand in small batches to traditional recipes using specially selected whole fruits, our jams are perfect to use in cakes, puddings, tarts or simply heavenly on hot buttered toast.

Made exclusively for us in the East Anglian countryside using only the finest and freshest ingredients.

In the 1800s a gooseberry craze kicked off, with over 170 gooseberry clubs active in England at its height. People competed to grow the biggest, heaviest gooseberries, with the winning fruits often being the size of a large plum. The hidden gooseberry illustration was found at Anglesey Abbey, Cambridgeshire. Buying this jam helps us uncover that past for the future.
