Made especially for National Trust our duo pack of all butter biscuits are made with the finest ingredients and are great for sharing.
Our chocolate and hazelnut biscuits are rich and crumbly, whilst our orange and almond biscuits are zesty with a delicate nutty flavour.
Hazelnuts have been cultivated since the fourth century BC. The name comes from the resemblance of the nutshell to a helmet or headdress, haesil in Anglo-Saxon.
The hidden image on the box shows a richly decorated Anglo-Saxon helmet of war, discovered at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk.
Oranges were one of the most prestigious fruits in the seventeenth and eighteenth century garden. The aristocracy would build special orangeries to over-winter them, moving them outside in the summer and back into exactly the same position year after year in the winter.
The hidden image on the box shows oranges in the orangery at Peckover House and Garden, Cambridgeshire. Made for us by a long established family business in Yorkshire, now in its fourth generation, who carry on the tradition of baking biscuits to many of the same recipes created by their great Grandmother Annie Wild over 100 years ago.
The perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. Why not try our other duo pack with two more tempting flavours: white chocolate and raspberry and oat and apple crumble, packed with flavour.
Great as a gift.
