Marking the National Trust’s 125th anniversary, A Portrait of the National Trust: 125 stories for 125 years shines a light on the many incredible people who contribute their skills, time, passions and personalities to the charity.
This unique photographic project uncovers the stories of 125 staff members, volunteers and supporters through memorable portraits and personal interviews.
You’ll meet the shepherdess at Llyndy Isaf Farm in Snowdonia, the dance instructor at Sutton House in East London, the ‘tree guy’ at Stourhead in Wiltshire, and many other fascinating people.
All the sitters were photographed on location by portrait photographer John Millar to bring out their unique connection with the Trust.
A Portrait of the National Trust is a representation of the Trust as it is today and a beautiful photographic addition to its collections.
But, most of all, it is a huge ‘thank you’ to every one of its members, volunteers, staff, tenants, donors and supporters.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
