This is quite a large book and I am still ploughing through it but so far I have been very impressed,I would have liked to seen a photograph of Sybil Kapoor included in the book.

The last thing I need is another cookery book - particularly one on Baking - but I couldn't resist this one, having seen the article in the NT magazine. Congratulations to Sybil Kapoor for producing a book that is interesting, attractive and with recipes having something different about them, with the added plus that I can cook them and they turn out right!!

Inspiring and Scrumptious Recipes

An abundance of mouthwatering ideas and some variations on previously tested recipes. The book is beautifully illustrated and a lovely present for the novice cook with excellent, comprehensive instructions and not too fussy ingredients. A bargain. I shall certainly be looking forward to creating the Bakewell Cake, but I'm spoilt for choice!

Definitely some mouthwatering recipes in this comprehensive and beautifully illustrated book. I notice some interesting variations on cakes I've previously baked and I shall certainly make the Raspberry Bakewell Cake which sounds delicious. A good present for a novice cook with useful tips in the Guide to Baking chapter. A very good purchase and I shall recommend it to friends.
