Our random rugs are one of our most popular items both online and in our shops.  They're all wool and made in the UK from recycled wool.  One of their key charms is that they're all different in terms of the colours of the wool used.  120cm x 145cm.

Bought one of these rugs last week. Very pleased with the quality and very good value for money, certainly keeps you warm. So many gorgeous colours to choose from, but bought one in a lovely Scottish thistle green and purple colour.

I was a bit worried about the colours I would get (being a bit of a fusspot) but at £12 I reckoned it was worth a gamble. I was right - the rug is beautiful and wonderfully snuggly. I'll definitely be looking out for more of them the next time I go to a National Trust property! 27th Apr, 2012

After all these years of never buying woolen blankets because they are so expensive I jumped at the chance to buy one for £12. Obviously it's not the softest wool but that could probably be remedied with a nice cold wash. Perfect picnic blanket, sofa blanket and car blanket. Bought two of these rugs when on holiday last year at Lindisfarne - They are beautiful colours 7 sit well on the back of the sofa until needed on a chilly night - have since bought 3 more as gifts and will be buying more from our local national trust shop for gifts this xmas - Fantastic value !!

I've had my welsh wool blanket for over 5 years and it is the best camping accessory I've bought. It keeps me warm when sat outside as well as snug in my bed. Excellent value for money and very stylish too. I love mine.

My boyfriend bought me one of these in Cumbria on a very cold day. It not only kept me warm when outside but made a great pillow for the journey back to the Estate. I will really get my money's worth out of this versitile blanket. I will be going back to buy some more - they are perfect for those summer evenings when it gets cooler in the garden later on. Wrap it round your shoulders or over your lap. Fab colours. Saw the other reviews and agree - would make a lovely present!

Bought one of these at Ashridge Forest after seeing them at Beaumaris in Wales. It is so lovely and warm and pretty too, sitting on the back of the sofa. Great to cuddle up in in this snowy weather. Just need to get some more now!!

i first bought one in scotland last year. my hubby said it keeps his feet lovely and warm in bed (his feet always hang out of bed) just bought another 2 when we went to sizergh castle on sunday (free day out so thought would give something back in the shop). if you get the chance go to the shop and look at the different colours. last year got pink,green & black colours. this year got more purples. they are excellent value and its really difficult to buy proper wool blankets these days. keep up the good work nt.!

I bought 4 of these lovely welsh blankets..one is on my sofa with me - lovely in this cold january with snow outside...friends have them on their sofas too, given by me as presents....highly reccomended....
